Que the Music... Singing... It's the final countdown!!!!

Sing it with me...It's the final countdown!  In just over a month, June 1st to be exact, my gym membership becomes active as does one excuse erasing factor in my fitness journey...say it with me moms and dads...GYM DAYCARE!  For the first round of 21dayfix this year I stuck to the schedule and did 99% of my workouts.  The second round was at about 50% and the third round I floundered like a dying fish and my biggest shake up to my schedule has without a doubt been, God love them, my children.  I've managed to keep off the 12 lbs or so that I lost, but I want to get back on the horse as they say and continued what I started in January.

My solution????  DAYCARE!  Yes, that lovely place where you drop off your kids and all the excuses (at least I have) for not doing a workout disappear because the kids didn't take a nap or were just not going to get in the dang jogging stroller or stay out from under you while you're planking, even if you bribed them with birthday cake and unicorns.

For me, it's the sleeping patterns of my kids that seem to be the biggest deterrent to a consistent workout schedule.  Most Team Beach Body Followers seem to jump out of bed at the crack of dawn and get their workouts in before the rest of the world can get in their way.  I tried this...it lasted for exactly one morning.  Why?  Well my husband is an early riser for work and that seems to only be a springboard for the rest of the house to come alive.  My 2 year old is often up at 4am and my 4 year old by 5am, leaving this "I wanna workout at 4am" mommy without options.  With such early rise times, it leaves me scrambling for time during the day to set aside for me to workout.

Gym daycare will leave me with 2 whole hours to do whatever I want while in the confines of the gym walls of course.  My plan is to do a workout for at least 30 minutes then get back into a running routine so that by August 1st I can run a 10k again after MONTHS of not having enough time to train.
